Website Design Pricing in today’s market

How to set a price for designing a web site is one of the most debatable points in today’s world of communication. The ease of view and operability leaves most users baffled by the rates quoted by developers. What many do not understand is the effort and input required for an attractive and well running website.

A vehicle or consumer product will have specific features and is price varies accordingly. Any specific features to be added will have a specific price tag associated with it. But, I case of websites the time and effort to incorporate similar features may not be the same for any two of them – the reason being that they may be focussed on different subjects. For example, the products displayed on a site of a hotel chain will not be the same as that of a bank. The news reports and customer feed back expected by both will be different in volume and quality.
